DWAN

Tipperary Brewing Company

Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Tel: +353 504 26007

The Dwan family has long and proud traditions of producing quality Irish minerals and importing fine wines and spirits from around the world. Now Bill Dwan has united these traditions to create a delicious and authentic
range of beers brewed here in our very own craft brewery.

Our beers are made from the best of Irish ingredients - Irish water, Irish malted barley and wheat and our own unique yeast - combined with the finest hops from the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.

At Dwan's we think small is beautiful. Our hops are flown in from their country of origin in small amounts to maintain their flavour and aroma. Our beers are brewed in small batches so we do not need to pasteurise them. This means that every beer is at its peak in terms of freshness when you drink it, with no additives or preservatives.

An Dubháin (The Dark One)
The name Dwan is derived from the Irish word Dubhain which means 'black one' or 'dark one'. Dwan's signature beer is a strong, traditional, Irish extra stout with a classic balance of roasted barley and Galena hops. At 5% ABV this beautiful and complex beer should be sipped to be appreciated fully.

Black Pearl
Another Irish classic, but with an ABV of 4.3% this is the stout to have when you`re having more than one. Black Pearl has a deep, dry, roast flavour with the hint of bitter-sweetness that has made Irish stouts world famous.

Rich Ruby
Rich Ruby is a fruity and aromatic ale produced by a combination of crystal and chocolate malts with Nugget and East Kent Goldings hops. At 4.6% ABV this beer is as smooth and rich as you would like to be yourself.

Cool Amber
Cool Amber is a European pilsener style beer made with the German lager hop Hallertau Perle in combination with lager malt and malted wheat. At 4.3% ABV this beer is luscious, full-bodied and satisfying with a sweet, malty fragrance.

Silver Frost
We turned to the new world for this lighter coloured American style lager. The authentic Tettnang and Yakima Cascade hops are sourced from Northern California, Oregon and Washington State. Silver Frost is cold fermented to bring out its crisp, refreshing taste.
